CONGRATULATIONS to 2023 Brickie graduate Cody Johnston for winning the pole vault competition at the BIG 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships!! Not only did Cody place first, but he also set a NEW BIG 10 CHAMPIONSHIP and SCHOOL RECORD after clearing 18'06" for the win!! WOW!! Cody, a sophomore vaulter for the University of Illinois, was a 2-time IHSAA State Champion for Hobart (2022 & 2023) and now joins his grandpa JJ and father Jim as BIG 10 CHAMPIONS!! AMAZING!!!
